with PROTEUS
Independently from the supercomputation service, the iC1 offers other technological resources that make research easier.
These services are diverse, from storage and backup services, to specific calculus applications with licences.
- Private CloudLike well-known private company services, the PROTEUS infrastructure allows us to maintain a centralised copy of each user's data, which can be consulted from any location and synchronised with the rest of our devices.
- BackupsTo ensure data integrity, backups of researchers' personal computers can be made on PROTEUS servers. The data is transferred via SFTP (secure FTP) to each user's backup folder.
- Temporary storageUseful for sharing large files that cannot be sent by mail. This service allows you to store the file on a server and share a link with the recipients of the file, who can then download through it.
PROTEUS provides an HTC environment that incorporates the latest trends in computing and is optimised for scientific calculations and simulations.
