PROTEUS is the computing service that the Carlos I Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics offers its members and collaborators. It provides an optimized environment for intensive calculations of general problems and incorporates the latest trends in computing.
It consists of a high-performance computing cluster with cloud computing and cloud storage services.
The PROTEUS supercomputer is the main service that the Carlos I Andalusian Interuniversity Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics (iC1) offers its members and collaborators. It provides an HPC (High Performance Computing) environment that incorporates the latest trends in computing and is optimized for scientific calculations and simulations.
In addition to the supercomputing service, the iC1 completes its range of features by providing other technological supports that facilitate research work, such as cloud storage or the use of applications such as Mathematica.
Any member of the Carlos I Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics has the right to use this computing service. In addition, iC1 maintains collaboration and development agreements with other institutions and research centers. You can find more information by clicking here.
