El Instituto Carlos I de Física Teórica y Computacional de la Universidad de
Granada pone en funcionamiento el superordenador académico más potente
de Andalucía
Carlos I Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics of the University of Granada has just started up its new PROTEUS supercomputer, which represents a significant increase in its computing capacity. The Institute thus becomes the Andalusian research center with the greatest computing power and the fourth in the Spanish ranking.
This fact, together with the recent start-up of the UGRGRID supercomputer by the Centro de Recursos Informáticos de la Universidad de Granada, makes the University of Granada a reference center for scientific supercomputing.
